Description: Catecholamines (Dopamine, Norepinephrine and Epinephrine) are monoamine neurotransmitters produced by the adrenal gland. Dopamine is the first catecholamine synthesized from DOPA. In turn, norepinephrine and epinephrine are derived from further metabolic modification of dopamine.
