The data in Table 2 show the affinity of a number of compounds for the [3H]rauwolscine labeled human 5-HT2B receptor. All of the competition curves for these compounds yielded slope values that were near unity, i.e, they did not significantly fit a two-site binding model better than a one-site binding model. sured against [3H]rauwolscine (Fig. 4), as would be expected since antagonists typically do not discriminate between the agonist high- and low-affinity states.
