SNX32 is a component of the recently identified endosomal SNX-BAR sorting complex for promoting exit 1 (ESCPE-1), a heterodimer of SNX1/SNX2 associated with SNX5/SNX6/SNX32.In this study, we have investigated the interaction of SNX32 within the SNX family, its lipid affinity, and its role in the intracellular trafficking of CIMPR, transferrin receptor, and Basigin. We begin to define the function of SNX32 in intracellular trafficking in neuronal cell lines, revealing an important contribution to the process of neurite outgrowth. |
