Description: Eosinophils are key effector cells implicated in a great variety of inflammatory responses. Chemotactic response of eosinophils is mostly mediated by CC Chemokine Receptor-3 (CCR3). CCR3 recruitment by eotaxin-1 (CCL11) leads to activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases, ERK1/2 and p38MAPK.leading to inflammatory responses and cytoskeleton rearrangement.
